Player Error 109 - Unable to retrieve server information

There are a number of reasons why you may experience this error message when attempting to play a game.  Follow the instructions below to diagnose the issue.

  1. If you are a FreeRide Plus subscriber (pay to play without the advertisements) please click here for instructions to fix this issue.
  2. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet (physical connection to your modem, etc).
  3. Verify that you can browse the Internet and other websites (example: try http://purple.com/)
  4. Attempt to play the game again.
  5. Verify that the FreeRide Games Player is allowed full access in your Firewall/Security program.  Click here to view detailed instructions on how to do so.
